Then imagine a slightly nervous founder giving you his best pitch. You jot down a few notes. Then, when the founder is finished, you ask him a question or two.
“I’ll be in touch with my decision,” you tell him.
Now, imagine one, two, three more founders standing in line, just to catch your ear.
And you go through the same thing with them.

Because on Tuesday February 3, nine days from now, you can participate in a live-streamed event that gives you a real experience just the way you imagined it.

If you want, you can sit back and listen to the founders, as they make their cases. If you do that and nothing else, you should still find the presentations very interesting and educational.
Or you can be more active. You can jot down questions and note what you like and don’t like about the companies. And what more you’d like to know. This last item is important, because you’ll also have an opportunity to ask the founders questions to fill any informational gaps you may have.
Then, before you move on to the next founder, you’ll be asked to rate the company. By the way, everyone’s ratings will be quickly tabulated and relayed back.
The whole thing takes about an hour. It’s hosted by Onevest, so right away we know it’s going to feature high-quality companies. Onevest runs a well-regarded startup portal.
