Startup Insider: Why CityZenith Is Hosting its Own Raise

Andy Gordon first recommended CityZenith as an investment opportunity at a $20M valuation in the summer of 2019. He recommended them again this past September at a $27.4 million valuation. CityZenith briefly paused that raise (watch this week’s Startup Insider video to find out why!). And they’ve resumed it on their own site. Even better — you can get a lower share price if you invest in them now! The share price has dropped from $1.15 to $0.575.

CityZenith’s founder and CEO Michael Jansen joined Andy Gordon and Vin Narayanan on Startup Insider this week to discuss the raise, the progress CityZenith has made and the company’s bright future. Also joining the discussion this week is World Digital Foundation’s Steve Philp, who is handling the marketing for CityZenith.

Note: About 10 minutes into the show, there’s a brief Zoom glitch. It clears up pretty quickly. We apologize for technical difficulties. And thanks for watching!
