At the ripe old age of 3, MicroVentures, the equity crowdfunding/venture capital site launched by William Clark, is a comparatively established and experienced player in the ECF portal game. The portal provides a peer-to-peer investment service that connects accredited investors with approved startups.

The portal has some impressive accomplishments to boast of. A visit to the website reveals some of the latest projects MicroVentures is funding, some of which, like tech seed Ribbon, have secured over $1,000,000 in raised capital in under a year.
