First Annual Startup Investor Summit

You Are Cordially Invited to the
First Annual Startup Investor Summit
August 23-24
San Francisco

Dear Investor,

Our first annual Startup Investor Summit is just around the corner.

So I’d like to make a suggestion.

If you feel the mainstream media pays too much attention to the big institutional investors and not enough attention to the small angel investors (that’s how I feel!), come join us.

Our Startup Investor conference takes place August 23-24, in San Francisco.

We’ve lined up an A-list of startup investor experts, headed by our friends Bill Papp, Phil Nadel, and Scott Dubin.

And they’ll be talking about your opportunities and concerns.

Bill is Senior VP at MicroVentures, a startup site that does a superb job of finding pre-IPO shares for individual investors. It also lists outstanding early-stage startups. Bill will be sharing his insights on how the secondary market for private shares is changing.

Phil is the co-founder and managing director of Barbara Corcoran Venture Partners (yes, the Barbara Corcoran of Shark Tank fame). Phil and Barbara have built a portfolio of promising startups that is among the best in Silicon Valley. They have hundreds of investors who follow their investment strategies and routinely invest with them on the deals they do. We were very lucky to get Phil. He’ll be sharing some thoughts on what he looks for when analyzing startups.

Scott is the Investor Relations Director for OurCrowd, a leading global equity crowdfunding platform based in Israel, with offices in the United States, Europe and Australia. We’re extremely pleased to announce that OurCrowd has agreed to participate as a Startup Investor Summit Sponsor.

We’ve had the pleasure of working closely with the folks at OurCrowd over the past couple of years. They provide highly vetted investment opportunities in leading startups from Israel and around the world. Scott will be sharing his insights on investing in innovation.

Some of the topics they and our other speakers will be addressing…

  • Secrets to finding potential billion-dollar companies when they’re taking their first baby steps
  • The key to avoiding great ideas that are bad investments
  • How to invest alongside Silicon Valley’s top VC firms
  • The next wave of disruptive technologies
  • How to think big and start small on the way to megaprofits

The summit promises to generate a host of actionable investment ideas and unique strategies.

Tickets are first come, first served.

To reserve yours now, please contact Sarah Brown at 410.622.3064. She will be happy to help you.

I hope you can join us.

Sincerely,

Andy Gordon
