It’s an exciting time for soccer fans around the world. The FIFA World Cup is underway in Qatar. But sports fans aren’t the only ones who are rallying.
Sports tokens also rallied ahead of the World Cup in mid-November — including Chiliz (CHZ), which we added to the Crypto Asset Strategies portfolio in late September. And as we predicted in our recommendation, CHZ jumped right as the World Cup was about to start. It rose 11% in just one day on November 18. And fan tokens of the national soccer teams of Portugal and Argentina were up 50% and 28%, respectively, in mid-November.
After all of the bad news about the FTX disaster, it’s nice for crypto investors to have some fun.
