Yesterday afternoon, we recommended selling your WAX position on Bittrex. Then we discovered Bittrex has made a number of changes to its site that makes selling less intuitive. You can no longer sell from the “Wallets” tab.
So if you’re still trying to sell WAX, here are the steps you need to follow.
Note: I recommend doing this on a PC or laptop. It’s very tricky on a phone, and the process/experience is different.
- Click on the “Markets” tab in the upper-right-hand corner.
- Scroll down until you see “Bitcoin markets.”
- Under bitcoin markets, search for “WAX.”
- Click on WAX when it appears.
- Scroll down past the charts until you see “Buy/Sell” in the middle of the page (screenshot below).
- Enter the quantity you want to sell.
- For price, select “Bid.”
- Click the “Sell WAX” button.
- You may be asked to enter your Google authenticator code to confirm the sell.
Follow these directions and you should be okay.
